Called to Duty

This will be the LAST GAME before CODENAME: CARDINAL on June 23rd in Wasilla! If you’re planning on coming to Cardinal this will be a great opportunity to make sure your gear is in working order before the big game!

ACE Hardware and Arctic Fire and Safety both have rentals if you need to get them. A paintball setup - if don’t already own one you can rent paintball guns/masks/air from ACE Hardware or Artic Fire & Safety (AFS) for $15 at both places. ($100 deposit) the rental cost includes everything you need except for paintballs. Which you can also buy at ACE or AFS by the case (2000 rds) or by the bag (500 rds) - (and I would suggest having at least 500 rds to shoot).

We will also have CO2 refills available for $3/12oz and $5/20oz.

Directions to Repp:
1. Travel towards North Pole on the Richardson Highway.
2. Turn off at the First Badger Road Exit.
3. Travel down Badger Road until you see a sign that says Repp Rd. on the right hand side. (You will make a LEFT onto Repp Rd. even though the sign is on the right.) Repp Rd. is at least half way down Badger (probably a little bit more, so don’t worry if you don’t see it right away.)
4. Travel down Repp Rd. until you reach Hollowel. Make a left hand turn onto the dirt trail across from Hollowel. Drive to the clearing. You are here.

This is a post to let everyone know our next meeting will be June 2nd. We’ll be meeting in the basement of the church the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month through the summer.

So April 22nd was probably just a little bit early for our first game, but with what the weather is predicted to be (up to 50 degrees next week) It seems like we should try for April 29th. This will probably be the only game for those college students that will be leaving Fairbanks after finals. Again ACE Hardware and Arctic Fire and Safety both have rentals if you need to get them. (Though I would check with AFS before renting because they may have not gotten out their rentals yet).

It’s that time of the year again! We’re going to shoot for our first paintball outing on April 22. It’ll be out at Repp Rd. again, and it is contingent on the weather and field condition.
