Paintball out at Repp Rd - April 22 - Weather Permitting
Updated: April 18, 2006
The game has been cancelled.
It’s that time of the year again! We’re going to shoot for our first paintball outing on April 22. It’ll be out at Repp Rd. again, and it is contingent on the weather and field condition. This maybe a little ambitious but I know a lot of people are itching to get out there and play. We’ll start the game around 11am. If anyone’s out in the area, maybe you could investigate/take a couple of pictures to let us know how it is. I’m going to attempt to get out there before then, but I don’t know for sure if I’ll be able.Anyways if you’re interested in coming let me know. At the very least we should be able to take some time and clean up those guns that day. I’ll be around to answer questions, give advice etc. if you need it.

So, given how much snow is still on the ground, how likely is this game? I have a lot things to do this week and I know I won’t make the game. So the problem is that the CO2 tank is in my storage unit, as are the tables. Thoughts?
yeah, its still a bit cold, would have to see how the guns operate. And I still need to get stuff together. But this week we should have the church to ourselves so we can plan strategy or discuss other game elements maybe…
That sounds good to me Allen. I will officially email the list to say game off.
I know Collin was talking about wanting to discuss laying a classic ambush. One of the other things I think we need to go over is squad and platoon (for lack of a better way to put it) assault planning and execution. The team (platoon) has an overall objective and someone sends the squads with tasks to achieve the overall objective. Essencially, 1st squad, do this; 2nd squad, do that. Then let the squad leaders handle the details.
I think this will make the wait time at the beginning of the rounds shorter and allow for more fluid team work.
Just my 2 cents.
me and allen will get a mortar, and yall can call for support fire! :p
I would say maximum 5 minutes setup before the start of the round.
My two silver…
